Oriko Terms of Use
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between the owner of Oriko and users of the Oriko mobile application, website, and other components of the Oriko service.
Service owner: Alexey Sergeevich Vlasov Website: https://oriko.space/en Email: alexey.prostovlasov@gmail.com
By registering for Oriko or continuing to use the Service, the user acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If the user does not agree, they must stop using Oriko.
1. General provisions
Oriko is an information service for communication, publishing content, maintaining a public profile, viewing user content, and using other available features.
Features may include account registration, profiles, a public feed, posts, personal and group chats, images, files, voice and video messages, user discovery, contact-based discovery with permission, push notifications, and other features.
These Terms apply together with the Oriko Privacy Policy.
2. Registration and account
Some features require an account. Users must provide accurate information and keep access credentials confidential.
Registration may use an email address, phone number, username, display name, and password.
Users must not impersonate another person or organization, mislead others about their identity, or use another person's personal data without an appropriate basis.
3. Profile
Users may choose a username, display name, avatar, bio, banner, and other available profile elements. Public profile information may be visible to other users.
Profile elements must not be used to violate law, third-party rights, commit fraud, or mislead users.
4. User Content
Users may create, upload, send, and publish text, images, photographs, files, voice messages, videos, and other supported content.
Users retain their rights in content they create and represent that they have the rights and permissions necessary to provide it. Users are responsible for their content and the consequences of publishing or sending it.
5. License to User Content
By providing content, the user grants the owner of Oriko a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use that content only as necessary to store and technically process it, transmit it to other users according to the selected feature, display it in Oriko, create technical and backup copies, and operate and secure the Service.
This does not transfer ownership or exclusive rights in User Content. Oriko does not acquire a right to sell User Content to third parties merely because it was provided through the Service.
6. Public posts
Content posted in public areas of Oriko may be available to other users. Users choose what to publish and should not publicly provide information they do not wish to disclose to the relevant audience.
7. Personal and group chats
Users must comply with these Terms in both public and non-public features. Prohibited content does not become permissible merely because it is sent in a private or group chat.
Text messages in supported conversations are protected by end-to-end encryption. If required encryption cannot be completed, the text is not transmitted to the server and may remain locally on the device until the user retries sending it.
End-to-end encryption of text messages does not mean that every type of data receives the same protection. Media files and attachments may be stored by the server without end-to-end encryption.
8. Prohibited content and conduct
Oriko has a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and abusive user behavior.
Users must not:
- violate applicable law
- publish illegal content
- threaten, harass, or systematically bully others
- distribute child sexual exploitation material
- publish intimate material without consent
- use the Service for fraud, deception, social engineering, spam, or unsolicited bulk messaging
- unlawfully collect or disclose personal data
- distribute malware
- gain unauthorized access
- bypass security controls
- impose excessive load on infrastructure
- infringe the rights of others
9. Reports, moderation, and blocking
Oriko provides tools for reporting content and blocking other users across the public parts of the Service (feed, posts, comments, public profiles). Reports submitted through these tools are reviewed by Oriko's moderation team, typically within 24 hours of submission.
Depending on the violation, measures may include warnings, feature or visibility restrictions, content removal and removal of the offending account, temporary or permanent account suspension, and other reasonable actions.
For clear or serious violations, action may be taken without prior notice. Moderation does not mean that Oriko pre-reviews every post or message.
10. Oriko intellectual property
Rights in the software code, interface, design, graphics, name, logo, and other Oriko materials belong to their respective rights holders. Users receive a limited right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Without authorization, users must not unlawfully copy or distribute code, extract source code, create derivative products from protected elements, or use Oriko branding in a way that falsely suggests official partnership or endorsement.
11. Security
Attempts to gain unauthorized access to infrastructure, bypass authorization, obtain another user's credentials, interfere with network communications, maliciously exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt normal operation are prohibited. Potential vulnerabilities may be reported to the owner of Oriko.
12. Content and account deletion
Users may delete their content where supported. Oriko may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, law, third-party rights, or Service security.
Users may request account deletion through the relevant in-app feature or by contacting alexey.prostovlasov@gmail.com. Oriko may reasonably verify account ownership. Associated data and content are deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy, except where retention is legally required or otherwise permitted on a lawful basis.
13. Availability and changes to the Service
Oriko evolves and may add, change, or discontinue features, modify the interface, perform maintenance, and temporarily restrict access for security or operational reasons. Continuous and error-free availability is not guaranteed.
14. Third-party services
Third-party technology services and infrastructure may be used for certain functions, including push-notification delivery. Processing by such providers is subject to applicable law and their relevant terms and policies.
15. User responsibility
Users are responsible for their actions, their User Content, the consequences of voluntarily disclosing information, and compliance with third-party rights and applicable law.
16. Limitation of liability
Oriko is provided in its current state. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not responsible for the conduct of other users, content created by them, or consequences of voluntary interactions between users.
Oriko does not guarantee that User Content is accurate or safe and is not responsible for interruptions outside the owner's reasonable control, including failures of communications networks, third-party infrastructure, or operating systems. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the separate Oriko Privacy Policy, which supplements these Terms.
18. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as Oriko develops or as laws or Service rules change. The current version is published on the official website. Users may receive additional notice of material changes through available means.
19. Termination of use
Users may stop using Oriko and initiate account deletion at any time. Oriko may restrict or terminate access for material or repeated violations of these Terms, applicable law, or threats to Service or user security.
20. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, taking into account mandatory rules that apply to a user based on their location. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be contractually limited. The parties should seek to resolve disputes through communication before using other lawful remedies.
